A Collection of Memories: 2003 World Cup Final, Jonny Wilkinson's drop goal

In the World Cup of 2003 I remember leaping up off my chair, spilling my pint, as I watched that Jonny Wilkinson kick go through the posts. I still get tingles going up and down my neck just thinking about it, it was amazing. Mad Dabbs, Acklam RUFC

Jonny Wilkinson kicking the drop goal to win the Rugby World Cup against Australia. It was the last match in the competition and his was the last kick in the competition and I can still see the ball being passed back to him. I watched it in a lock-in at a pub in Devon with my parents. It was a very special day. James
