It was a hot day at Wembley in 1994 especially if, like me, you were wearing a replica Leeds shirt.
What with the emotion and sickening excitement of the occasion - it was the first time I had been to the Cup Final, even though I had followed the team for years- and the alter-effects of a glass of wine at a pub near Kings Cross at lunchtime, I was feeling pretty faint.
When Schoey scored in the corner in the second half, just near where we were sitting, and it looked like we might win, I honestly thought I was going to keel over. I could feel myself going and it was only that all the Leeds fans were swaying on their feet that I managed to remain upright.
After a few deep breaths I gradually began to come round but unfortunately so did Wigan. By the end of the match I had regained my balance but Leeds had lost the cup.
