I’ve always stood at Headingley. I started off in the Boys’ Enclosure, which was at the left-hand side of the South Stand and then I graduated to behind the posts with my friend Elaine. There’s an indescribable magic about the whole of the stadium. I can walk through the gates irrespective of whether the ground is empty or there are few standing around watching an Academy game and I am home and it always has been like that. When I go I want my ashes spread across the South Stand side.
