Both Hull rugby teams getting to Wembley! I remember the headline stating "Will the last person out of Hull put the lights out" as everyone had gone to Wembley!

In 1980 Hull and Hull Kingston Rovers met at Wembley in the Challenge Cup Final for the (to date) only time, Hull KR winning 10-5
