A collection of successful playing memories

My favourite and proudest memory of playing rugby is the semi-finals of the Yorkshire Shield in '77. Ray Kelly

Being a member of the Silver Trophy winning side. Ray Rowling

My proudest memory of playing rugby would be winning the Yorkshire Silver Trophy, we had a good team and being a junior rugby club it was great to actually be quite good in Yorkshire. Anon

Playing for Acklam from the word go. Lots of fond memories playing with such great guys as the late Marty Kendall, Phil Taylor, and the only winger to dummy his opposite number with a pass into fresh air, Ray Rowling. All the Silver Trophy winning side - of which I was privileged to be a member. John Haddon

I came to Acklam about five years ago as a second row. My favourite memory is when we won the league with the Talbots. Andrew Brewer

My favourite memory has to be winning the league with Colin White as coach. Ian 'Nogger' Rodden
