My funniest memory is being on tour and a pal of mine called Tony Fowler used to have the funniest laugh, you could tell it was him by his laugh. One day we had a Tony Fowler laughing contest and Tony entered it but came third! Ray Rowling
I remember when we used to mess about with beer tray after games – hitting each other over the head with them. One of the opposition thought he was going to take me on with a tray and whacked me over the head with it, so I jumped up on the table and bent one around his head! James Price
My funniest rugby story has to be travelling back in a mini bus, hired out by Dave Hall. The exhaust fell off the side of it, I had to pull it out, it got thrown into the side of the garage. Ian Potter
I don't really have a favourite memory of playing I just enjoyed each match and especially the socialising afterwards. 'Slick Service and the Serviettes' consisting of Phil Taylor, Alan Francis, Peter Brown, John Dixon and Lol Kendrick dressed up as women doing a cabaret set has to be my funniest memory here - I think there's a video going round somewhere! My funniest memory of rugby must be getting naked in front of my family and dancing on the front of the stage! Bear
Scoring under the posts at the Parc de Prince in an ad hoc game using a French Beret as the ball. Ray Rowling
As a Team, along with some Darlington players, flying back to Teesside Airport after a tour to Ireland & being escorted through the terminal by Police & Dog handlers - all because Charlie was telling some jokes over the tannoy system. Some folks have no sense of humour! Mal Dabbs
Not being allowed my passport back, along with the whole team when on tour in France! We had to pay £400 for an 'antique table' which had been broken. After some negotiation we paid, and brought the table home! Mal Dabbs
One of my funniest stories of the club was when I was going to play an away game, as we were young at the back of the bus we used to pull moonies, and I pulled one at the president of the rugby club by accident! 'Mad dabs'
My favourite memory is not of the games but of being on tour at various places. Once we pinched a false leg from Lemsbrey Rugby Club. Paul Appleton
We went to Rome on tour, Barry, Rod and John Hartman - we're the older ones of the club, and we were in a little room. Barry switched the television on and complained 'There's no Sky!' and Rob says to him 'You haven't got Sky at home!' Ray Kelly
