Michael Pegler: career memories

My best memory was being picked to play for Bristol for the very first time – a great honour. We played against Bath – and we won! Following my relocation for work, I then played and captained Dudley Kingswinford RFC in the Midlands. My nephew, Michael Rafter was a great Bristol stalwart who went on to play for England, so I always really enjoyed watching him play. My eldest son, David Pegler, captained England B; and he had a great game at Twickenham, when they beat the Australians.
