Kurt Monks: 1993/1994 season, Warrington v. Sheffield Eagles

A wet April night, the last game of the season in the 93/94 season against Sheffield Eagles. I was a 9 year old lad watching my idols and Jonathan Davies was my favourite player. Being at the bottom of Fletcher End and running onto the muddy pitch at the final hooter. We all jumped on the players and celebrated with the players like we were champions. We were champions for 24 hours, lost the league on goal difference in the end but that was a special night. He won the Man of Steel that year and alongside Briers is my favourite wire player since I've followed the primrose and blue.

Thanks for the memories 'Jiffy'.
