Graham Myers: my first match

My 1st real introduction to the Warrington Wolves was at Wilderspool, I was there with the St John Ambulance and I was sitting near to one of the corner flags, who we were playing I can't remember but the moment that really sticks in my mind was that I remember Chris Rudd getting the ball inside his own half and heading towards the end where i was sitting in full uniform, the next moment I was jumping up and down like a raving lunatic cheering him on, urging him to score which gladly he did and the Wire won the game. This being my first taste of Rugby League as I had moved up from London and did not fully get the game, but after that moment it was in my blood along with the mighty Wire.
