My father took me to my very first game, Warrington against Castleford in the early seventies. The Wire, as we were then, won the game easily. I did manage to see most of the game on my Dad's shoulders and can still hear the roar from the crowd every time we scored.
As a youngster I had never seen as many people or heard anything as loud
before.
