I have so many memories but probably my first memory was watching Warrington on TV win the Challenge Cup in 1974, then watching them come home with the Cup. My next memory would be watching the Warrington B team play on Friday nights at Wilderspool. As kids we soon worked it out that if you waited till 20 minutes after kick off you could get in for free, we have seen so many amazing games that were a joy to watch. David Appleton

The Alzheimer's Society recently launched a national initiative called Dementia Friends which is giving people an understanding of dementia and the small things people can do that make a difference to people living with dementia.
